Meet Jonah.
Jonah Ellis is a producer and sound artist based in Bristol. He works with broken beats, field recordings and live electronics.
Train doors, street conversations and room noise become the raw material for his records. In performance, he cuts those recordings into rhythms and builds tracks around them.
His OFFSCRIPT programme includes a listening session, a workshop in recording and sampling, and a live electronic set on the riverside.
