Meet Daniel.
Daniel Cole is an independent filmmaker based in Manchester. He makes observational films about memory, identity and everyday life, working with small crews.
His recent film, After the Last Bus, follows the friendships and routines of a city after dark. The project grew out of time spent with its subjects before filming began.
At OFFSCRIPT, Daniel screens the film and discusses how it was made. A separate talk follows the decisions involved in representing someone else's life, from the first meeting to the final edit.
